Multitasking on iOS 4.2 iPod touch 2G Broken?

I jailbroke iOS 4.2 with redsn0w as soon as it was released. I enabled multitasking and battery percentage. However, when ever i use multitasking to try and switch through apps my ipod crashes and resprings. If i go on the springboard and then switch it works, but i cant switch between apps. I disabled multitasking through ifile, but i want to enable it. does anyone know how to fix it?

Ya just do the steps in the link given in post 6 there. No need to jailbreak again if you have done so already.
