Iphone 3g - 3.1.3 v.s. 4.2.1

Hello. Just wanted to know which one is better because according to the whole lawsuit against apples flaw-full 4.0.x updates made by some lady, 4.2.1 was made, and is supposed to be much better than the previous 4.x's. But is it better than the good Old 3.1.2/3?

I am going to have to say no to me its still laggy but not to bad and you dont really miss any of the features on the 3g i am personally sticky to 3.1.3 on my 3g iphone.

4.2.1 is faster than 4.0 but it still sucks compared to 3.1.3, I have used them all and can safely say it's not worth the upgrade just to get folders, and enabling via jb multitasking and wallpapers is not worth.

You can get 3.1.3 with backgrounder for multitasking and background images and still it wouln't be as slow as 4.2.1 without jailbroken multitask and wallpaper enabled.

Folders are a great feature, but again, the performance is really bad compared to 3.1.3, so I wouldn't recommend it.
