Apple apps asking for 4.1 and 4.2 update

Yesterday went on appstore through my iphone and found updates which I do through the phone. A couple of apps would not update as it said my phone needed to be on 4.1 and some said 4.2.

I tried to download an app which also said sorry need to update phone to 4.2.

Is there a way around this? I am on 4.0.1(8A306) With JB on Iphone4.

There used to be a tweak in cydia to spoof your firmware but I dont think its there anymore. You may have to update to get them.

Ya buts its tethered for iPhone 4 so you may want to hold off until there is a untethered one.

ok good work. Should i get the, and how can i get the latest firmware 4.2 for my iphone before apple bring out 4.3 an so on, without installing 4.2 to my phone.
