Question Swap SIM and APN setting change!

Is there a App or some way of stopping my APN cellular data network settings being changed whenever I temporarily change the SIM

But when he removes the sim the settings should automatically stay....provided he installed a profile....he shouldn't need an app to keep them

    installed a profile....

    Where do I do that?

I am trying, not just idly waiting for someone else to show me how!
I have installed the apple iPhone Configuration Utility v2.2 onto my PC with its Configuration Profiles; so before I screw something else up, am I going in the right direction please?

Delete the carrier bundles from system/mobile (I think it is..)
Or move them to another folder you create (such as *yourname*).
It may be in usr or private

You will have to manually edit APN and MMS settings but they should not change.

The above location can vary but you are looking for a folder called 'carrier bundles'

The information that changes is stored in these files (and they can also enable or disable tethering, the 3G toggle and other things - so you are better of to (at least) move them....

OH to another poster, the carrier bundles get installed when you restore or upgrade OS, or can get installed OTA (but you usually have to say 'yes' to a dialogue to install them, so *don't* !!)
