multitask problem?

I'm running an iphone 4 on ios 4.1

I recently tried to change the multitask and folder backgrounds and read on a post that I should delete some plist in ifile.
After i did that, sure enough, the backgrounds worked.

But my multitask bar on the bottom is half black and all of the icons are pushed over to the left side, all jumbled up.

Any ideas?
