iPhone 3g picking up data plan signals with network settings off
My unlocked and jailbroken iPhone 3g (Tmobile) has been picking up data plan signals and I am being charged for this. In settings > network > cellular data network, EVERYTHING is blank. My 3g, data roaming and VPN are also all blank.
I do not want to be charged for this any more and Tmobile says I have to block it from my own phone and that they cannot block the data plan from their side.
How can I block this from the iphone? I only want to use Wifi with it.

There is no on/off option for cellular data network. Everything else is off and the cell data network is left blank as I mentioned in the OP.

Download sbsettings and see if you can turn it off with the data toggle

Press the more button in sbsettings. Then select set toggles to add or remove toggles to the main app.

I still do not see a more button for 3.2.1. I click on Cydia>Manage>SBSettings and my only options are Change package settings, AUthor, Version, File system content, ID, Section, Expanded Size, Contact, Sponsor, and Big Boss. Not sure how I can access the app itself.

Not in there. When you activate sbsettings by swiping your finger across the top of the screen.
