Brand new iPhone 4,help!
I just received a new iPhone 4 and before connecting to iTunes,i want to be sure not to mess it up.
It is jailbrocken and unlocked and don't know about the firmware yet.
I have T-Mobile regular SIM,should i cut it and insert first ?
Also can i connect to iTunes and sync with old 3GS(Have all data, contacts, apps ttc)
Please if some expert can give me a procedure list of things to do.
Do i have to activate ? and how ?
Thank you will really appreciate all the help i can get.
Happy Thanksgiving !!!

If it's jailbroken and unlocked then it should be activated already. If you're on the "Slide for Emergency" screen then you are not jailbroken and the unlock cannot be known yet.
If the phone is activated go to settings.. general.. about.. and report the "version number" which is the firmware.

OK.. now go to settings.. general.. about.. modem firmware. If it's 2.10 then you can't unlock. If it's 1.59 then you're good to go!

That's exactly the same as mine so yes if it's jailbroken and unlocked you should be able to connect it to iTunes without any trouble. Just don't touch the update or restore buttons. As for syncing with 3GS I'm not sure.
