Replacement iphone4 with ios4.1 but has SHSH's On File for older ios version

Hi There;
I did receive today an iphone 4 as replacement, it has ios 4.1 and (suppose to be new phone) but, after i activated and jailbreak it with redsn0w .9.6b4 (cause did not work with any other tools) i opened cydia to save 4.1 shsh file hoping it will cause as you know 4.2.1 update is release yesterday. I was lucky that 4.1 shsh fie has been saved successfuly but, the weird thing is that after i open cydia i saw shsh on file for: ios
4.01 4.02 4.1 4.2b3! is it possible!!! How come this happened ??
is the phone new as apple told me before they sent it or it is a returned refurbished one that previous owner jailbroke it and returned it.
will someone help me and answer this clue please!

u know what i used tiny umbrella to download shsh files into my pc and i got it there
So it is a refirb ?
is it good as new, if yes i will keep it
