Wouldnt it just be easier to sync your contacts to outlook or windows contacts and then sync them back to the iPhone 4?

If you have both handsets infont of you, get the Bump app on both, and send all your contacts over in a matter of seconds. I done this when I upgraded my 3G to iPhone 4, worked a treat. Or you can sync them like x98car said
