Default Issues with synching/pairing iphone apps to OSX apps

I have an issue where the apps on my jailbroken 4.1 3gs iphone cannot synch or pair with the apps on my Macbook Pro. Apps like "Remote", "Hipporemote", "MacJournal", "Kindle", all the apps that allow wi-fi pairing or synch, cannot find or connect. I'm on the same wi-fi network and wi-fi does work on the iphone. The only thing I can remember what could've changed is that I registered my ssh blobs with cydia. Any insight and help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you all in advance.

Registering shsh blogs with Cydia has nothing to do with syncing your apps.

Are you taliking about wifi sync, you have to pair it first before you can sync it.
