Default Iphone 4 coma in sleep mode issue

Hi, i know that there are a number of owners are having the issues with the iphone 4 not being able to wake up from sleep mode oftenly. Tried DFU restore, normal restore, set up as a new phone instead of restoring from back up, reset all settings, original firmware and pwnd firmware. None of them work.

I wonder if ios 4.2 would be fixing this issue?

I haven't heard of this issue yet. Does this occur frequently? What jailbreak did you use?

If you cannot fix the issue.. I would take it to an Apple Store. They will replace it if it's not fixable.

Hopefully you have a store in your state.

i have 2 units, one unit is running perfectly fine but another one is giving me such a problem once or twice a day. I googled this issue, apparently lots of ppl having such problem, a lot worst than mine.

nope, i do not have a store around my place as this is a singapore set which means i have to courier it to singapore where i live 5 hours drive away from singapore.

If it happens on stock fw, are you restoring from back up? Try setting your phone up as new on a stock fw and see if the problem persists. If it does, something is wrong with the hardware.

My iPhone 4 on 4.0.2 and then 4.1 never experienced this problem. I could be wrong that it's a hardware problem, but it seems unlikely that the firmware is causing the problems. I have yet to see it except in your case.
