constant sent and recieved data

i just noticed that my phone is constantly sending and recieving data about 5kbs i cant figure out what it is and i dont have any apps running at all

Ive narrowed it down to having something to do with notifications.. .. and when i turn it off the constant data transfer stops.. but i dont have this issue on my other 3gs with the same firmware..

Something is push sending something...email maybe? Aim?

i did another fresh install of 4.1 and downloaded one app that uses push set it up and the constant data transfer started again.. so i deleted it and it stopped.. downloaded a different app that uses push same thing started happening, delete it and it stops.

so it looks like if i allow any app to use push this constant data usage starts.. im confused!!!
