What kind of apps are you trying to install? Umm I never had that problem. Do you have a lot of repos install?

I could be wrong, but I think Error 2 means "file not found" which means the file doesn't exist on the other guy's end.

Talk about repos that host piracy is not allowed. Suggestion remove them as they are known for issues.

This afternoon I installed Bootlace 2.1 on my old 2G, used Bootlace to install OpeniBoot and iDroid. Everything appeared to install correctly, but after rebooting to iOS and running Cydia, I got the same error (#2). I looked around Cydia files & directories and compared with my 3GS but didn't notice anything.
So .. it was restore time and start over. One small step at a time with numerous reboots in between and now everything is working.
Sure glad I didn't try this on my every-day iPhone.
