Can't open settings app, please help

Hello
All of a sudden I can't open my settings!!!?
I have a jailbroken 3GS on 4.1.
I have uninstalled anything I put on recently and still no good.
Someone please help!

Did you do a restore because that will fix it.

No I want to avoid a restore so I dont lose all my music, videos and data etc.

Back it up before restoring then you wont lose it all. There is no avoiding it its going to stay that way till you restore!

Bummer.
I'll have to back up and restore then.
I did install some extended preference apps from cydia but they made settings app crash so I deleted and all was fine, and I could open settings.
Then all of a sudden it won't open again.

more than likely it just that a file got corrupted

re-install extended preference, and activate it in windterboard.
your setting should work again, but with a few addons

Hello.
I have iPhone 3Gs on 3.1.3 and I had the Xtreme Preferences and I just unistalled and I screw my iphone because I can't open my settings anymore Why?
And I go back to cydia to looking again for XP I cant find anymore can you guys can you put kind a tool to cydia to fix this pls, I dont want to restore my phone from itunes because I'm loosing my unlock. Thank you
