iPhone 4 Netatalk - No room to add files error!

I recently installed Netatalk so I could transfer some games files for ScummVM over to my iPhone 4.

I ran into an issue though when I went to put some files into a directory within var/mobile/.

The problem was that it said I had only 412MB of room, and it's clearly wrong because I should have about 4-5 GB of room to put files.

How can I clear up this space or refresh the unused space on my iPhone so I can transfer the files?

EDIT: Hmm...I just realized that it's showing that all the unused space is all under the home directory, about 6GB, instead of the root, which is where I advised to put my files! Maybe I read where to put my files for game wrong. Double checking the information on the Scumm iPhone Wiki page.
