If you SSH into the phone you can change the sounds to anything you want. I changed the sounds to speaking the numbers. Just go into System/Library/audio/uisounds and change all the dtmf files to whatever caf files you want. if you create a aiff file you can just change it to caf and import it into the phone and it will work great. If you need more info let me know.
Thanks

You can find it here:

I think these files are .aif format. I use iTune to convert it to .aiff format and then drag it into a folder i created on the desktop (name the folder anything you want ie...Speaktone, or something) and then rename those files to .caf (dtmf-0.caf, dtmf-1.caf etc....these are the file name in the iPhone) then highlight those files and SSH into iPhone -Systems/Library/Audio/UISounds.
It will ask if you want to overwrite these files, select YES. Restart iPhone or restart springboad.
remember to copy the original files just incase you mess up and need to put them back in!
good luck!

hi there,
i wanted to change the default call waiting to my own sound, so
1. i created my own sound ct-call-waiting.caf
2. then i SSH to iphone /Systems/Library/Audio/UISounds
3. then i uploaded and replace ct-call-waiting.caf
4. i tested it using cyberduck and it has my own sound
then i rebooted my iPhone, tested the call waiting sound, yet it still plays the old one? did i change the right file???

does anyone have an idea why changing ct-call-waiting.caf did not work for me?
