2g on 3.1.3 software...with a couple questions

I have a 2g iphone on 3.1.3 firmware...on T Mobile...I hacked the phone myself and I have been using it for over a year now...I have been reading in the forums regarding mms...and I have read where some people have done it so they can get mms and others are saying to downgrade to 3.1.2 ---- what do you all suggest? I used redsnow for the hack.

Enable MMS on iPhone 2G 3.1.2 Firmware | Redmond Pie

If that doesn't work on 3.1.3 you might consider downgrading to 3.1.2 to do this. 3.1.3 and 3.1.2 are pretty much the same, except I've seen people have problems enabling mms on 3.1.3 on 2g.

I tried that earlier...thank you though. I am researching now on moving back to 3.1.2....thank you for the help though
