I have a jailbroke 3gs still on 3.01. Keep running into apps I cant download because of 3.01. Phone runs great, and dont want to lose that. If I choose to upgrade, do I just do upgrade from itunes? I would also like to jailbreak afterwards, so whats the best and easiest program to do this? Sorry if all this has been answered before. I did search, but didnt really find what I was looking for. Thanks!
As long as the baseband isn't a concern for you (ie you don't require an unlock), then you can just update normally in iTunes and jailbreak with any of the three programs currently available for iOS 4.1, limera1n, greenpois0n, and pwnage tool.
