problems manually adding sources

So first off, im very new to jailbreaking. I first jailbroke my phone last friday. Wondering why i had not done it 2 years earlier...

The problem i am having is when i manually add a source repository. It adds it but then cydia always gets stuck downloading packages. I finally got it to go away after using diskaid and deleting the links but it was a pain. Why is it that i cannot manually add repositories?

Be sure that the repos you are adding are still valid. Many developers use repo as a temporary beta repo or the likes.

Before you add another repo, research it a bit. I used to have a lot of this problems when I went to google and looked for repos. All were outdated. Now i only added three.

IMHO you dont need that many user-added repos. You get everything with Cydia (stock repos in other words).

there is a package in cydia call "all sources" add that and u will get all available repos

Just curious- if you added this package you are mentioning-does it add pirated repos? I don't even want to go near that junk.

No just legit repos nothing that will let you get pirated apps or music

Ok go too cydia>more package sources>then add PwnCenter repo!
Next go to search and type in all sources and it will be there install that and you will be good

I c! What is the full repo address then? Sorry, I've never seen this one before-only added beta address before.

On the main page in cydia if you scroll down just a bit there is a tab right under "Upgrading to 4.0.2? Read this" in red writing there is a thing that says more sources click on it and scroll down and you will see PwnCenter no need to type or manually add anything

Ps just hit the Thanks button much appreciated

Thanks a lot! I actually have seen that when I explored Cydia.

Of course I'll hit the Thanks button when I'm on the computer next. I don't skimp on the thanks button when it's deserved. Hahaha

Well I must just suck because it got a bunch of pop ups saying something about refusal. But I check my sources and there is no PWNCenter installed but it showed in the install tab after coming back to PWNCenter, Modify was there. So it had to have installed but All Sources isn't there!!

I suck!

Nope. Still doesn't work.

PWNCenter is in my PACKAGES but not sources. And when I search for all sources, it's not there.

EDIT--OK, now I went back on and a bunch of new changes were under Change tab and All Sources was one of them.

Still getting that broken ISpazio link tho!

Did you delete the ispazio u were trying to add before you did the all sources? Because it maybe saying the one that u tried to add manually isn't working
