Lockscreen never dims

My lockscreen will never dim. For example I get a SMS then it will stay lit forever until I hit the lock button. It happens all the time with an SMS or not. Just by pressing a button to light up the lockscreen it will stay lit till I hit lock. Anyone know why or what apps could be doing this?

I managed to get rid of this problem by unintsalling super prefernces (or is it called supreme prefrences???)

Well a better solution is
GO into Settings - Supreme prefrences - Mobile Substrate - Change "dim lockscreen in " from 5 seconds to 10 seconds , that ends the conflict , and your screen starts to dim in 5 seconds as the original was
