create app shortcuts on the springboard?
Hi all,
My First post after getting my iPhone 4 a few weeks back and jailbreaking a few days ago.
This might kinda sound like a newb request, although I doubt that, as I cannot find any refs to it anywhere...
Can shortcuts/alaises to apps be created with icons on the springboard?

I'm not sure I understand the question - don't all apps (save for system extensions) have icons that represent them on the springboard?

Ah, ok, if icons on the springboard are already shortcuts/aliases, then to expand on my question is it possible to create duplicates of them so they can be placed on more than one springboard page?
As an example, in my case I would like to be able to have a shortcut to a frequently used app on my home screen, with a duplicate of the shortcut icon placed inside a folder on another screen where I have categorized my apps.
anyone else know if this can be done?Last edited by emilebos; 10-18-2010 at 04:30 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
