My3G or 3G Unrestrictor

Hi!

I bought My3G 2 months ago and I really like it, but it's not working with Modern Combat 1 and 2 in the multiplayer mode and it always selects MobileSafari and MobilePhone, but I don't want to have them selected and treat them that I'm on WiFi...

Now I want to buy 3G Unrestrictor, but I don't know if it's better or if Modenr Combat 1 and/or 2 is working with it in the Multiplayer Mode via 3G.

Did anyone tested it?

3G Unrestrictor worked for me.... until I updated to 4.1.

Im sure an update will be out soon though.

It let's you do stuff over 3G which are usually restricted to wifi e.g high def YouTube, FaceTime, downloading apps over 20mb etc.

And 3G unrestrictor was updated today, has it fixed your problem??

Using FaceTime over 3G with 3G Unrestrictor 2.3 on iOS4.1 doesn't seem to work for me. FaceTime just keeps saying "Connecting" and the other person gets the message, "unable to connect".

When i switch to WiFi, FaceTime works flawlessly.

I've tried 3G Unrestrictor with IsDirect flag ON and OFF. Neither work.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

3G unrestricted works fine on everything on my iPhone 4 4.1. Works on online games that require wifi, facetime works fine so I do recommend that you get it. But also my3G was updated to work on iPhone 4 4.1. Look at changed in Cydia and see if that's an upgrade option.

Do you use the InDirect switch on or off??

i've tried restarting etc.., but no joy.

3G unrestrictor still doesn't work with modern combat 2. So it must not have been updated. Then again my3g doesn't work either so I guess we'll just have to wait for an update... Kinda sucks considering I pretty much bought 3GUnrestrictor for multiplayer.

I found this work-around:

Download PDANET.
Create a WIFI hotspot
for settings I would suggest leaving the channel to whatever it's already there and to save battery life just adjust the signal strength to 1
Load Modern Combat and it'll join. PDANET makes the game think you are connected to a wifi (since you ACTUALLY need to have your WIFI on to create an adhoc connection.

This is the only possible way so far.

I have my 3G and for some reason modern combat 2 shows up as sandstorm so when I clicked it and enabled direct flag mode my modern combat started working on 3G again

Sandstorm is the newest update name of modern combat 2. That's why it's listed like that. I was gonna ask if it was in direct flag mode cause it worked for me.
