Is IOS 4.1 finally ok for the 3G?
hey everyone,
is it finally ok to download the latest IOS to my 3G or will it still
bog me down and kill my battery even faster?
Are there specific tricks to making it work correctly where a tech might be able to do it?
Many apps are simply not compatable with the older IOS's
thanks, kenny S

I just sold my 3g, but 4.1 worked great for me. 4.0.x was unbearable but 4.1 was nearly as quick as 3.1.3.

It ran just fine without jailbreaking or tweaking. I did JB it with redsn0w but still didn't tweak it after that.

4.1 isn't as fast as 3.1.3 on my 3G,especially once you've got a few things of Cydia which have mobile substrates running, my advice would be to stay at the lower fw

iPhone4 16gb black - 4.1 Limera1ned
iPhone 3G 16gb white - 3.1.2 jailbroken Blackra1ned
THANKYOU ONCE AGAIN GEOHOT!
