HELP! 3GS Stuck after Restoring Contents and Settings

So just bought a 3GS off someone with Unlocked and JB fw 4.0.1 but though i could delete everything by using the restore contents and setting options. Didnt know you werent supposed to do this on a JB phone. Now its stuck on the logo and then a blank screen. I need it unlocked so I tried to restore to official 4.0.1 and then limera1n and unlock but it gives me error 1394. What should I Do ?

The only thing you will be able to do is restore. Unless you have shsh's saved for 4.0, 4.0.1 or 4.0.2 the only thing you'll be able to restore to is 4.1. Use tiny umbrella to see if you have shsh's saved.

How do I check if there are blobs stored? I can only get into DFU mode. Also I need the phone unlocked so should I just go to 4.1 and sell it? Its a ROGERS phone, but if I switch to a ROGERS PayasyouGo can I use that or will it have to be an iPhone plan?

You can use tiny umbrella to see if you have shsh blobs stored. Not sure on the rogers pay as you go thing, but if you do restore to 4.1 you WILL lose the ability to unlock for now.
