what is the best way to ssh a iphone 3gs?

i was thinking of using winscp but i don't know it the rickrool virus is still there?

winscp is fine, just make sure you change the default password if you are worried about a virus.

If your just wanting to browse/delete/replace/add files just use iFunbox, it connects through USB so you don't need to go through all the connecting bs that ssh has.. And if you need terminal capabilities just use mobileterminal in cydia

Just download afc2add in Cydia to access root files with iFunBox, Diskaid, or iPhoneBrowser

how do i change the password alpine because i go to terminal and i get disconnected so i cant change the password

You have to install a beta mobileterminal that works with 4.x, it's version 4.2.6. You can either install in manually via ssh or through the x repo in cydia.

I use iPhoneBrowser for PC to ssh, its easy as pie.
All you have to do is connect ur iPhone to ur PC & open the iPhoneBrowser app on ur PC & ur away.
