Question about buying iPhone 3G
Ok guys, I'm gonna put up for sale (not right now, this is a figurative question) an iPhone 3G and was wondering how much you'd pay for it. Here's some info about my phone:
1) iPhone 3G 8GB
2) New RED housing
3) Bootloader 5.8 (for the experienced, we know this means it's always unlockable by baseband downgrade)
4) comes with original charger/sync cable
5) comes with Speck Candyshell white case
6) comes with yellow Elago slim fit case
7) comes with 4 mirror screen protectors (1 already on the phone)
8) scratch-free cuz of new housing, screen was just replaced today
9) of course jb and unlocked on 4.1 (can downgrade to 3.1.3 of course if need be)
10) problems: power button and vibrate switch do not work, volume rocker is working fine
I ask because the two buttons/switch doesn't work at all and I don't know if I want to replace the flex cable to fix it. If I can still get $250 out of it, I won't bother to fix it. I figure $250 cuz I spent money to get a new screen and housing, so I'd like to ultimately get $200 but cover the other parts that I bought with the extra $50. So would you guys pay $250 for it even with the buttons broken? The rest of the phone works perfect. I appreciate your inputs

I am sorry to say but no... I would not pay your asking price for it because of the buttons being broke.

From my comparison on ebay you would not be asking to much for it if the buttons were fixed. For me I rather buy my toys brand new from Apple.
