issues after upgradin my 3gs to fw: 4.0.1 and jb'd.

lastnite i upgraded my 3gs wit new boot on 3.1.3 to fw:4.0.1 . i then jailbreaked it from jailbreakme. im kinda disappointed though. my phone takes long time to load. if i open my sms, phone, openin from lock mode , openin camera, photos, setting, basically everthing i try to open takes longtime. sometimes i slide the slider in lock mode to go to home screen and about 2 sec. after i slide it then the slider moves. it takes up to 5 seconds to load. anybody have the same issue? or what the cause is? the only thing i could think of is the fw is corrupted. also, i go on cydia, and les then a minute on cydia, my phone heats up. can anybody help me?

Restore and rejailbreak. Your phone shouldn't act any different simply from being jailbroken. What could be wrong if you installed something that runs in the background constantly.

If this was a MacBook issue of running hot, fans running all the time, I'd suggest opening up Activity Monitor to see what is constantly running. I don't know of a similar app for the iPhone.
