Netflix 1.1.1 Kills Video Out on My 3GS
I updated Netflix and tried to use it with "TVout" and my component out cables on my JB'd iPhone 3GS...not working anymore.
I hadn't synced my phone yet so I was able to resinstall the older version. Working again.

No error. Just a blank screen on the tv with either a blank screen on the phone or a red screen with the netflix logo and player controls.

I have the same problem.
Red Netflix logo then black screen when playback starts
Same prob w DisplayOut and TVout2 Mirror.
Though the app exports video natively.. so that shouldnt be the issue.
I have a 3rd party video cable but it is working fine with everything else using Resupported4
OS4.1
iphone4
netflix 1.1.3

I use Netflix and a genuine apple component cable and dont have to use any tv out app. Just plug it in and hook to tv select movie n boom there it is. Is it a dock port style or 3.5mm style?
Iphone4 4.2.1
Newest Netflix too.

iphone 4 is supported as stated on netflix app, OP had 3GS
Tv out can work for 3GS if JB and has TVout app from Cydia from what I've read online, but I can't seem to get it to work either - it is on version 1.1.3 now, does anyone have an older version that worked? I just signed up for netflix
EDIT
I just reread the TVout app from bigboss that it does not support ios 3.xx or 4.xx - how are people getting this to work if this is true? I'm assuming everyone is on version 3 or 4 of iOS by nowLast edited by hxh103; 02-13-2011 at 05:07 PM.

A 3G works fine as well. Netflix n all no tv out needed. I can't see a 3G n 4 work but not a 3GS.
