Ok i have an iphone 4 and when i tap ever so lightly on the top by the speaker, there is a rattle. Like a little vibration rattle like something is loose? Anyone got this or know what it could be?
The i4 has pretty bad audio distortion beyond 50%.
I tried two i4's and the same problem.
No such problem playing the same videos and tracks on the 3GS.
There are a few posts around the web about it - but I suspect most people either don't use the onboard speaker or if they do, don't have the auditory resolution of hearing to detect it.
Makes me wonder whether it's a hardware configuration issue or a firmware phuckup. Either way, it's yet another pretty big ball Crapple has dropped.
Hopefully, it's remediable with a FW update rather than waiting for the i5 ... or maybe it's a develish new ploy by iSteve to get us all to upgrade immediately the i5 comes out (wouldn't surprise me, either).
