Help! No display!
I replaced the digitizer/glass in my Iphone 3g as it was cracked. I put all the ribbon pieces beack in the appropriate places and everything and when I turned on the phone the screen was bright white with a few discolored lines through it. It wasn't responding to touch but the computer still picked it up.
I did a restore and it hasn't fixed it.
Any idea whats happened? All that it is able to do is be detected by the computer but nothing shows up on the iphone itself, its just black.

Wow this sucks, I don't know of a fix myself, try contacting iFixit they will give you some suggestions I'm sure

Try opening it up again and make sure all cables are connected properly.
