if i were to buy an iP 4 right now
if i were to buy an iPhone 4 right now from AT&T store... is it going to come with the 4.1 iOs (with the new baseband)? thus preventing me from being able to unlock it?
I just checked my local AT&T store today and they told me they have some iPhone 4 in stock and i am interested in buying them but I'm not sure if they're updated !

most likely 4.1 or 4.0.2
in either case no jailbreakable yet.
i got mine direct from the factory Hong Kong like 3 weeks ago. and it was already 4.0.2
chances of a JB able one in a store today are nil60% of the time, it works every time.

If you can, go to the store and check the boxes for the model number. That number includes the week and year it was produced in. It should give you an idea if it has 4.1 or lower on.

4.1 is the major update that changes the baseband, correct?
so if i were to find a 4.0.2 update... I should still be able to jailbreak/ unlock once it comes out?
