All settings going back to default in iphone 4

guys.. i am facing a major problem.

All settings are going back to default in my iphone 4.

i set a new ringtone and come back to springboard and goes to ringtone settings and find that it went back to default. same goes to wallpaper and email addresses. no settings are getting saved. my iphone 4 is on ios 4.0.1, its unlocked with jailbreakme.com and ultrasnow and dont have shsh for 4.0.1 as i got the phone 1 week back. what can i do now?

Did you restart the phone holding the home and power button until apple logo appears?

Try that first and let me know

yes i did. it dint work.

Did u recently just install some apps from cydia that you think may be causing this? Try removing those and see If it makes a difference. It could be a winterboard theme.

If the above doesn't work, and a simple sync with iTunes doesn't, then a restore may be coming your way
