FaceTime over edge??

Is this even possible? I know my3g and all those apps do it but is that only for 3G or for edge also? Cuz whenever I'm on a phone call my edge automatically disconnects so how would that even work? Is edge designed to disconnect during phone calls? So only 3G can be used for this? I'm on tmobile USA

My edge disconnects in call aswell, plus edge can't handle no where near the amount of data FaceTime needs. Have you seen it on 3G? It ffin SUCKS! its so choppy on 3g I'd say it's only worth using over wifi..

It should work but not well, like ^ said. The speed of EDGE is just too slow to handle video calls like this. Loading YouTube vids on EDGE with T-Mo frustrated me so much that I didn't bother at all, but now that I'm on AT&T I am amazed at the speed YT vids load now. I would think it would apply the same for FaceTime. Would be too slow to stay connected or would just lag pretty badly.
