Problem: iPhone crashing on startup, but after a restart works okay

Hey everyone. I searched around for the answer here, but couldn't find one that related specifically to me.

When I turn my 3GS on from off, it will start up and then let me log in. As soon as I start typing the password in, it crashes. When it boots into safemode, a restart will fix it. It will then work fine. But, of course, next restart will cause it to crash again.

I tried to get as much info as possible, but I can't work it out. I'm no programmer.
