iPhone 3Gs suddenly not receving Exchange emails

NOt sure what happened but I have just noticed that my phone is not receiving exchange emails correctly. If I open up the mail app then I receive my emails but it is never checking them on their own anymore. Nothing has changed on the server (I am the network admin) and I have tried the standard things on the phone such as deleting and readding the account and disabling and reactivating push. I also tried a reboot. Is anyone else having this problem?

well if no one else is having this problem then i guess it must be something with my exchange server.
