Help what is this symbol at the top of my status bar?

i cant figure out what is causing these symbols to appear when on the home screen they dont show but in most apps i open they show. the one with the n in it shows more than the other does.

Yep it's backgrounder. Go into the backgrounder app and check all settings.

U find out exactly why they appear? Get it in my 3GS when I open certain apps. Guessing it's something to do with true backgrounding apps and non true.
