Question: Game Center

so I'm holding off updating to 4.1, obviously, but I'd like to go on and snatch up a Game Center username/account.

If I update my old/non-JB 3G to 4.1 and register, then I'll be able to transfer that account to my 4 once SHATter is released, correct?

Gamecenter isnt available on iPhone 3G so that won't work

Sure. But it won't work. All you can do is get yourself a screen name lol. It's only the beta
