I believe it's a vulnerability in all current bootroms.

The exploit is in the A4 chip, well two models of it anyway (iphone4 version and iPad/ipod4g version) the exploit isn't there for other devices because the hardware isn't there. However I do believe the devteam will bundle in a jailbreak for all other devices on 4.1, but it will have to use a different exploit

It's an bootrom exploit, nothing to do with the A4.

What? No, it's a vulnerability in the a4 which gives the devs access to the bootrom, if you go to the ModMyi main news page and read the article all about it it's on like the 6th line down, saying pod2g and p0sixninja found an exploit in the (random numbers) chip, also known as the a4
