ios 4.1
hy..i have a problem..i can't find anywhere a good answer..i upgraded my iphone 3G to ios 4.1. is there any way to jailbreak it? i did so with redsnow 0.9.5b5-5 and when i start my phone up the phone app is gone..i can't sync my phone with itunes..and i have to put it in recovery mode to restore the original ios..i can't live with jailbreak..my phone is useless..please help

If you guys cant get it JB properly on 4.1, youll have to downgrade. You should be able to go to 3.1.x but if you want any of the iOS 4 versions youll need SHSHs for that.

or just downgrade to 3.1.3, i hear iOS 4 is useless for the 3G so far.Don't forget to "thank" if I've helped you!

No way, unfortunately. Redsn0w 0.9.5b5-5 doesn't work with firmware 4.1. Besides the problems you mention, it'll also mess with your wi-fi.

We need to use inverted psychology to tell the people, stay away of iOS 4.1 for now, next time lets tell the people go ahead and doit, I think in that way they are not going to doit.

Lol indeed, it shows how people don't look even though they claim. Couldn't find an answer? Try using the mmi news page an a bit of common sense, jailbreaks never come out a few days after the public release of fw (unless it's a x.x.1 update, then maybe) and if you looked at said page then you would notice the thread about "SHAtter" still being under development, seriously it's all made pretty simple for you if you actually make the effort

Redsn0w, the latest version dies the job but several major bugs such as phone.app disappears, but I don't use it as I fone anymore so meh

Oh another bug wit redsnow is slide to power off doesn't work, i think it just resprings as you see the spinning wheel on the black background for a few secs, then it just hits springboard again
