I would also like this, I was able to download and install Game Center via Cydia but cannot get it to work. I downloaded it via the xsellize repo

i tried on my iphone 4 and it doesnt work but it did on my 3g but if your like me screw the 3g thats why i have an iphone 4 lol

i want to try it out but dont want to update but then again i would prob never use it anyways?

Lol it was jus a guess
and I hardly touch my 3G anymore, it feels disgustingly laggy and I can say the same for the screen ha. I do want to try 4.1 on it but I'm not going to until the jailbreak caus I want at least one jailbroken device and cba to upgrade, test it out and then downgrade again. No way

Just installed Game Center from the beta on my iphone 4 f/w4.01, it works as in i can sign in, but wont recognise any game center compatible games etc, so pretty useless.

Guess the one that ships with 4.1 is different, im trying to locate the 4.1 game center.app now

same, does anyone have the gamer center folder off of iso 4.1, maybe if we drag and drop it in...or change some of the files around to say 4.0.1 instead of 4.1...... kinda like when you want to restore from 4.1 when your on 4.0.1 itunes wont let you...but you can get around that pretty easy.

I'm guessing its not possible to find out till OS4.1 is jailbroken anyways since no way to SSH into the device and get the app so will have to wait to find out but I hope it works since it is the only feature from 4.1 that seems worth having.

Try unpacking a 4.1 ipsw, although I dno what you can and can't see by doing that it's wortha go if u wna know that bad. Otherwise just wait for the jb to b made public

I can't seem to get it to work either. Tried the YouTube ssh method and also the cydia game center and both wouldn't recognise any games. Looks like we will have to wait for jailbreak 4.1 ....

My guess is as long as you are on 4.0+ you should be able to use Game Center with a simple plist edit. The only problem is getting the .app of the final version. Only download available is the old version.

I have a modified version of Game Center posted on my repo. I am running 4.0.1 jailbroken on a iPhone 4, I found a Game Center.app file on the web. Packed it into a .deb and got it to install on my iPhone. I can log in but that's as far as I got. I have no idea if games work with it. I was going to mess with it more this weekend. Anyone is more then welcome to check it out and let me know what they find. i-Mods

Game Center provided by DAK13 seems to work fine lets me login and such unlike others I have found that crash on start!

I started up FlightControl which supports Game Center and then quit and went back into Game Center and still lists me as having No Games Played so I'm guessing this is the Beta version that was in the 4.0 beta?

Edit:
After seeing a video on YouTube I noticed the version is seems pretty far from what is out on OS 4.1 so until someone can grab the app from the update all you can do right now is make sure you get the username you want :P
