downloading apps direct

How would i go about downloading from cydia and apple app store on my laptop and transfering to my iphone 3gs? thanks

What planet are u on? Apple has a site to download apps from it's called iTunes. Don't think iTunes is illegal!

I don't think it's possible to dl cydia apps on pc, but there are sites which have downloads for more popular cydia apps like winterboard, terminal and sbs. As for AppStore apps open iTunes on your computer an hit store

Then you answered your own question then.

I was meaning is that to install them without iTunes is done by a program that enables piracy and is not allowed to be discussed.

There is a program called cyder or something that let's u download cydia packages via pc and transfer them

No because Cydia apps are unsigned and you can't run unsigned apps without being jailbroken.
