Why cant i rotate some pictures in windows

I took some pics today on my ip4, around 10, came home put them onto the desktop and tried to rotate some of them in windows picture gallery, I can rotate some but not others.

Why is this and how can fix this

Are they all pictures or are some videos?

Does it give u an error or just Greys out the rotate button?

Try rotating them just using explorer instead of taking them into windows photo gallery, just right click on them and you should see rotate in the menu

If none of the above work you could try it in Photoshop, or ms Paint if you dont have it
