A great start are the "sams teach yourself" series...very easy to follow and understand...they have cocoa touch programing, iPhone prgraming and iPad.
Also a free and great resource is YouTube , just search this term: Xcode tutorials or simplesdk
Simplesdk has a lot of great vids so check them out , and welcome to the forum

Your in the right place, I have learned alot just from this site, most things on here are free but donations are much appreciated especially for the great themes people create on here, Ive been to multiple sites and this by far gets them all when it comes to the iPhone and other Mac products. Be sure to thank those that help you, they appreciate that alot. Good luck with everything.

Yes Maria you are in the right place... also I read some books that are very interesting about iPhone programming..
Some of them are:
IPhone and iPad Apps for Absolute Beginners
iPhone Application Development for Dummies (7 interesting books in one)
I took another course from the internet very useful and specially for people that never have seen something about this before, real good to start. If you are interested send me a PM here and I will give you the address.Drive Safe with Trapster

Thank you friends for your suggestions,
I have searched various sites and found stanford university and edumobile.org which are really good and affordable. Though Stanford university provides free course, I think
Edumobile.org's iphone programming tutorial is not bad at all. As the features is the best for the beginners. They give classes via Online Video, Worksheets, One-on-One Sessions and live projects at 25% discount.
Thanks,
Maria.Last edited by maria_a; 09-13-2010 at 12:12 AM.
