Default Turn micro sim into normal sim?

I'd like to be able to put my sim for my i4 in my 3G, but obviously the connections won't sit right. Can I cut a micro sim out of my old sim with a Stanley knife and put my micro sim in the border that would be left?
I need some help on this guys!?

You would have to cut it perfectly which would be very hard to do. You can always just get a micro sim adapter off ebay or somewhere which should work for you.

I did that already for my wifes 3Gs iPhone and is working perfect...

All you got to do is align the micro sim card contacts area with the contacts area of the regular sim card, mark it with a pencil then cut it as you see in the pictures, real close to the contact area, then add some tape on the top of it so it can be in position no matter if you move your iPhone or when you insert it. It dont have to fit perfect, some tape should do the work for you.

    Here are some pictures...

Thankyou so much I'll thank you wen I'm on my computer, now all I have to hope for is that 4.1 doesn't have a new baseband or ultrasn0w gets updated. I want 4.1 on my 3G straight away to see if there's any difference in speed

4.1 does have a new baseband so don't update yet.

i modified mine with a nice sharp x-acto knife. takes a while and steady hand bu make your cuts slowly and shallow. then you wont go all over and damage the sim. by not using scissors, you can preserve the "frame and use it as a regular sim/microsim adapter. just put a thin piece of tape under it and sick the microsim back in it and off you go!

just remember the notch in the microsim lines up with the regular sim. Also cut bigger. You can remove/file off more material if it doesn't fit, but you cant put material back on.

Cut My SIM does as its name commands -- Engadget

There is a thing that punches out the micro sim from the full size one and it comes with housings to put back into a normal sim slot.

Adapters can be purchased for as little as 1 cent each. Google and look at a few sites.
