    Default iPhone 3GS best firmware in your opinion

    Would you say that the 3.1.3 firmware is the best for the iPhone 3GS ? Is there a significant difference in performance between a 3GS on 3.1.3 and another one on 4.0.2, for example ?

    I don't see a hit in performance between the two on a 3GS so I would say go for it. On an iPhone 3G however 3.1.3 is definitely the better firmware.

    Spot on 100%........ IMHO !!!!

    3.1.2 and 3.1.3 are most responsive! After these you have some problems usually they are very laggy. I think it's a case of not enough memory!... Just my 2 cents.
