AT&T cancelation fees, help
Hey guys, I have t mobile now and wanted to know if I go with AT&T and get an iPhone 4 for 199 and decide to cancel before the 30 days, would I be charged the 325 cancelation fee?
What if I decide to keep the phone, would I be charged 599 on top of the 199 I initially paid for the phone, or would I just be billed the difference of 400?

If u canceling the contract mean you must return the phone itself, otherwise they gonna charge $599 & tax.

I believe that if you terminate service before 30 days, you will not be charged the ETF. However, you are obligated to surrender the phone.
If you keep the phone, expect to be charged $325.

So if I don't turn in the phone I'm only gonna be out 199 for the phone plus the fee of 325? That's not a bad deal on a 600 phone

No, it's 199 plus 325 plus tax and PLUS YOU HAVE TO PAY THE FIRST MONTHS BILL that's the part everyone misses. It's about $80. So 325*199+80+tax= ~650-700 for the 16gb. Might as well buy it off eBay or craigslist
