Firmware >= 3.0

When I try to download a few things an cydia like iconsupport or five columne springboard it says depends firmware >=3.0 witch I take it means greater then or = to 3.0 but I have firmware 3.1.3. I don't understand what is going on and I've been searching forums for a wile trying to find the answer can any one help. I hope I put this in the right forum.

I have a 2g 3.1.2 that does the same thing.

Don't know why but does.

Ya it's annoying cuz I'm trying to get a certain theam to work and it won't work without those programs.

Well that's how it is, what is it your talking about? There are packages that don't work past 2.x you know..
