In case i need to restore?

What are the precaution i need to take now that i have my ios4.0.1 jailbroken and unlocked? I have saved the blobs in cydia (by clicking make my life easier) but do i need to do anything else? and if i WERE to need to restore, how would i do it? just making sure cuz i know ios4.1 will be out in a few months and who knows what can go wrong with my phone till then

It says downgrade but it works the same for a restore.
