what happens when you remove a package? sad face???

i know it is removed, but where do the files go? are they obliterated in the OS and just sitting there as fragments or is there a root file they go to?

super new so go easy on me.

reason im asking is i just dont want to have any removed packages interfering with any processes or apps. im seeing my iphone start to behave in wierd ways i got the sad face today and dont want to see that again...

cydia is starting to crash once in awhile etc....

is there away to check to make sure everything is running well without SSH into iphone? getting there on the SSH part havent checked it out yet.... thanks

It really depends on the package. Some are gone completely while some leave parts of themselves on the phone.
