A Stanza Question
Where are Stanza books located when I SSH into my phone? I cannot seem to find them. Thanks for your help.

They're located in /private/var/mobile/Applications/(my installation is in E3CEE4D0…). There are several sub-folders. Go to Documents/.Stanza/Library/. Those folders contain 3-4 documents. You can ignore the .img, .splash and .thumb files. Open the other with a desktop eBook app. I used Stanza Desktop.
Until the next time… And if I help you out, give me a "Thanks!" Thanks!

That's easier than syncing.

11-17-2010, 10:56 AM #9not working for me.I am using stanza 1.9.They're located in /private/var/mobile/Applications/(my installation is in E3CEE4D0…). There are several sub-folders. Go to Documents/.Stanza/Library/. Those folders contain 3-4 documents. You can ignore the .img, .splash and .thumb files. Open the other with a desktop eBook app. I used Stanza Desktop.
When I opened /private/var/mobile/Applications/my installation of stanza/Documents/ , it was empty.(I do not have any books dl'ed). So I created /.stanza/library in it and copied an ebook into it.Still stanza cant find it.
Any help will be appreciated.

I don't actually copy books that way. Doesn't work. I'm not sure what the other guys did, becasue Stanza creates unique IDs for the books.
Until the next time… And if I help you out, give me a "Thanks!" Thanks!

Try downloading Calibre on your PC and syncing books to Stanza using Calibre Server.

Calibre is a cool application. I haven't had much luck with it though. But, to be honest, I haven't used it much since the last few updates!
Until the next time… And if I help you out, give me a "Thanks!" Thanks!
